	Linda Harris, CONTACT Care-Line coordinator assists a volunteer with the new Information and Referral data base for the crisis line.

Telephone crisis intervention and information/referral services takes place through CONTACT Care-Line, the Center's 24 hour crisis intervention program. CONTACT Care-Line functions as part of the agency's crisis intervention services and is the point of contact for all after hour emergency services requests. 

CONTACT Care-Line is manned by volunteers who are continually trained and supervised. CONTACT Care-Line also provides information and referral services as an affiliate of United Way.

Becoming a CONTACT Care-Line volunteer is easy and rewarding. Volunteers say that helping others in need enhances their lives and gives them insight to life's problems.
