A kinship caregiver is someone
(other than the biological parent) who has
the primary responsibility of caring for a
child that is not their own. The majority of
kinship caregivers are grandparents,
but they can also be aunts, uncles,
older brothers or sisters, or anyone
caring for the child full time.
